Overview

About the Employer Sponsored Visa

Employer sponsored visas let an approved Australian business sponsor a skilled worker. The main options are the Skills in Demand visa (subclass 482) for temporary skilled work, the Employer Nomination Scheme (subclass 186) for permanent residence, including the Temporary Residence Transition stream, and the Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional visa (subclass 494).

These are three sided applications involving the worker, the employer and the occupation. We advise both employers and applicants, and we structure the sponsorship, nomination and visa so the pieces fit together.
